Electrical department was established in the year 1984.
The world of electrical engineering comprises of: 1) electrical machines 2) Power system generation& utilization 3) The new growing field of electrical vehicles 4) Electric Traction(railways) 5) Non-conventional power sources like wind power plant & solar power plant 6) Electrification of various buildings 7) Utilization of electrical energy in industries
This comprehensive list is to share with the world the prospects and job opportunities in the world of electrical engineering.
The department is in the process of applying for NBA (National Board of Accreditation) certificate which is a nationally and internationally recognized standard.
We also encourage co-curriculum activities such as – blood donation camp, tree-plantation, cleanness drive etc.
